Hello, Wifey (aka Grumpypants) went into hospital for standby surgery yesturday afternoon. The operation in the evening went longer than expected, but it went well. She stayed over-night for observation so they could monitor her blood-count more closely.
Currently Wifey is home as of an hour ago, and now sleeping with our wonder dog, Rebecca-Jane, nuzzled beside her. She'll probably be off the radar for awhile longer.
From both us, we just want to say a quick thank you for your cards, flowers, e-mails and support. Really - thank you...

Thank you - everyone too. Wifey should be posting soon. Its been a while but just so you know, we're both doing much better. Its still sad at times but nothing like it was in those first few days.
