A thousand and one bazillion, million thank-yous to all who have left wonderful comments, sent e-mails, called, and reminded me that I can use spatulas to force insensitive twats into submission and then have a cocktail to celebrate! (And I much prefer calling the "procedure" a "dust and clean" - so much better!) I have felt so many things in the past few weeks, but I've never once felt in short supply of the best folks in the world. Did I mention that you all are the best? Because, well, let's be frank. PS: Dear manager of the store that sold me that chicken that was ten days past its "sell by date", You are not one of these "best folks" I speak of. And the wrath of the grumpypants and the New York City Department of Health shall rain down upon your pitiful head.
PPS: Dear NYC Transit Workers, There are four miles between me and my place of employment. I do not enjoy biking these four miles in the freezing cold at 4:30 am or even at 6 am because it is very cold and I am very out of shape and very surrounded by people who clearly don't often drive without blindfolds on. Please keep this in mind the next time you decide to strike for no damn good reason. Thanks. (for nothing.)
