Okay, so call me the Biggest Damn Dork in the Whole World, but I love this little animated thingy, particularly the bit where the aliens disco-dance and sing "Pah, pah, puhpuhpuh, Patrick!" **
In other news, we here at Gripe du Jour worked thrirteen, nasty, sweaty, crazybusy hours at work today. All of the madness was cheered slightly by (a) the makers of Heineken and (b) my coworker, Funk Master B, who thought at one point that it would be better if he baked whilst wearing his bike helmet and occasionally playing an empty papertowel thingy as if it were a kazoo.
Love and amusement,

**Sir Patrick Moore is an actual astronomer who may or may not really play the xylophone. And I think we can all agree that he is much more sweet and endearing looking as a cartoon.

He really does play the xylophone. Though he is more famous for having the longest continuing tv series with the same presenter (the sky at night).

I can certainly attest to Sir Patrick Moore's xylophone mastery. I remember seeing him playing it on an episode of "That's Life" way back in the late 80s.
goodness, he's still alive?
got to love that monacle, yeah.
