You find yourself thinking things like "We here at Gripe du Jour can't decide if we want to make cranberry-orange scones or blackberry scones this morning," or "We here at Gripe du Jour really should have said no when that bartender offered us a shot of uncertain origins with our fourth beer," or "We here at Gripe du Jour wish we had woken up a smidge earlier today (i.e., more than thirty minutes before we had to be at work.)" I think that we, ahem, may have picked this habit up from a chef that we, ahem ahem, work with from time to time who often refers to himself by his own name. Or it may just be that we, oh lord will it ever end?!?!?, have adopted this tone online and the tone, in turn, has taken our wee brain hostage. We can't decide, but only know that it. must. stop. presently.

We here at Not Well Planned find ourselves composing blog entries in the shower, while driving in bad weather that we should be concentrating on, while watching TV... don't feel so bad.
